⚠️ CRITICAL NOTICE: ESTIMATIONAL TOOLS ONLY

The calculators, tables, formulas, and editorial articles published on DubaiCalculator.app are independent analytical estimation models provided solely for general educational, illustrative, and planning purposes. They do NOT constitute formal legal advice, certified tax advisory, chartered accountancy, or binding financial offers.

1. Non-Government Entity Disclaimer

DubaiCalculator.app is a private, independent computational website. We are NOT an agency, branch, or representative of the UAE Federal Government, the Government of Dubai, or any municipal authority. Specifically, we have no official affiliation with:

  • The Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (MOHRE)
  • The Federal Tax Authority (FTA)
  • The Central Bank of the United Arab Emirates (CBUAE)
  • The Dubai Land Department (DLD) or Real Estate Regulatory Agency (RERA)
  • The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA Dubai) or Salik PJSC
  • Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) or Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA)

2. Employment & Gratuity Calculation Limitations (MOHRE)

Calculators covering End-of-Service Gratuity, Notice Period, Overtime, and Leave Encashment are modeled strictly after Federal Decree-Law No. 33 of 2021 regarding the Regulation of Labour Relations. However:

  • Contract Specifics: Individual employment contracts may include specific clauses regarding unpaid leave days, commission agreements, housing allowances, or disciplinary deductions that modify statutory baselines.
  • Special Financial Free Zones: Entities operating under independent common law jurisdictions such as the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) or Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) are governed by separate workplace laws (e.g. the DIFC Employment Law and DEWS Workplace Savings Scheme) rather than federal MOHRE gratuity structures.
  • Final Adjudication: In the event of a dispute between employee and employer, only MOHRE labor dispute committees and the competent UAE Labour Courts have binding legal authority to issue final payout judgments.

3. Corporate Tax & VAT Limitations (FTA)

Our Value Added Tax (VAT 5%) and Corporate Tax (9%) tools reflect general guidelines established by Federal Decree-Law No. 8 of 2017 and Federal Decree-Law No. 47 of 2022. However:

  • Calculations do not account for specialized tax accounting treatments, exempt supplies, partial exemption apportionment, non-deductible entertainment expenses, or transfer pricing rules.
  • Qualifying Free Zone Person (QFZP) exemptions and Small Business Relief (SBR) determinations require formal documentation and eligibility audits.
  • You should always consult a licensed FTA Tax Agent or certified chartered accountant before filing official tax declarations.

4. Banking, Loans & Mortgage Limitations (CBUAE)

Personal loan EMI, car finance, and mortgage calculators are configured to reflect the 50% Debt Burden Ratio (DBR) ceiling and standard reducing-rate amortization schedules mandated by Central Bank of the UAE regulations. However:

  • Individual UAE commercial banks (e.g. Emirates NBD, FAB, ADCB, DIB) apply proprietary risk-scoring models, minimum salary requirements, arrangement fees, early settlement penalties, and variable EIBOR resets.
  • No output on DubaiCalculator.app constitutes a pre-approval, loan agreement, or binding financial commitment from any lender.

5. Real Estate & Rental Increase Limitations (RERA)

Rental increase calculations follow the brackets outlined in Dubai Decree No. 43 of 2013. However, the official legal authority for rental adjustments in Dubai is the official Dubai Land Department / RERA Rental Index calculator and the valid registration of tenancy contracts via the Ejari system. Furthermore, formal rent increases require 90 days' written legal notice in accordance with Law No. 26 of 2007 (as amended by Law No. 33 of 2008).
